I’m on Holiday at the moment and loving every minute of it! During the Weekend, I’ve decided to add a little something to my blog and installed a new feature which somewhat gives back to those who comment on my blog. I’ve added the Top Commentators feature which lists the top 10 people who have commented on posts within my blog throughout it’s existance. At the moment, I’ve got laserlight with 11 comments.

January 16th, 2010Well, it’s the seventh post in my fast 15 category… but during the day, I was thinking about something: Did the concept of the new “fast 15″ section only forced me to do what most bloggers actually do and make time to make a post regularly? I mean, it’s been fun so far – but really do we need this “fast 15″ category?
Maybe it’s just a routine. So from this point forward, I guess I’m going to retire the “fast 15″ concept and actually just post one post per day and try to fit it inside 15 minutes – I think this is makes sense. It makes the blog’s structure a little less complicated and less gimmicky.

New Schedule & Blog Category: “Fast 15″
January 8th, 2010There’s been a few times when I’ve looked at my blog and thought it was dead. I mean I look at it and think:
- “well, do I really want to do a post just for the sake of doing a post?”,
- “do I have anything entertaining or informative to share?”,
- “will the trolls come and get me tonight in my sleep?”
- finally, there’s “do I have the time to write a post?”.
See at times like these when I’d almost always say “no” and then leave my blog as is.

Classes & Examples Sub-Category
December 6th, 2007I’ve created a “Classes & Examples” sub category for PHP. This category will be different from actual Design Patterns in a way that these will be more practical examples which you can modify and use in your own code base (all I ask is that you leave my name somewhere in the credits).

I’ve moved house and _JUST_ got back online at home!
October 24th, 2007Well, it’s been a hectic couple of months for me, I’ve moved to a new house. Things are slowly falling into place. I’ve purchased gardening tools, door wedges, weed killer, saw and lawn fertiliser, made a payload of phone calls and emails to my nameless builder and associated contractors who can’t seem to get things “quite” right and seem to be testing my well mannered patience.
