I agree with you, to a very, _very_ limited degree - it&#039;s not really a bug per seh, which is why I&#039;ve placed it in quotes (&quot;&quot;), but this is more a tweak to skip the delay which occurs when Firefox tries to recover from receiving an incorrect IPv4 address while expecting to receive an IPv6 address.&gt; When you turn off IPv6 you are limiting your connectivity (even if your provider doesn’t support it now), that’s all
That&#039;s total FUD - I don&#039;t see how disabling IPv6 limits my connectivity.&gt; but you don’t care, you’ve read about blocking IPv6 somewhere and here you go, your net is now 10 times faster, LOL.
You sound bitter, don&#039;t worry man - I&#039;ll enable IPv6 by removing the line I&#039;ve added to blacklist IPv6 in ubuntu when it&#039;s more supported.Thanks for sharing your thoughts, but it&#039;s a little off from the truth... probably half of &quot;the truth&quot; if that - maybe you should have called yourself &quot;thehalftruth&quot;?
